What is low back pain?

In the United States of America, the most common pain and cause for disability is lower lumbar back pain.  The low back pain can be caused by disc herniation, degenerative disc disease, disc bulges, disc osteophytes (spur), facet (spine joint) arthritis, sacroiliac joint inflammation, failed back surgery syndrome and etc.

What are my treatment options?

If you have failed conservative therapies, such as anti-inflammatories, physical therapy, cold-packs, heat pack and home exercise programs, and want to avoid unnecessary surgeries and pain medications, then you may be an excellent candidate for the minimal invasive pain management treatments.  This may include but not limited to:

  1. Cervical/thoracic/lumbar nerve root injections
  2. Cervical/thoracic/lumbar facet (joint) injections
  3. Cervical/Thoracic/Lumbar Radiofrequency Ablation
  4. Sacroiliac Joint Injection
  5. Spine Cord Stimulation Therapy
